Hello, and welcome to my journey–wherein I chronicle my adventures in the relatively new world of ePublishing and share the things I discover in my efforts to succeed.
Having had an agent and a major publisher in the past, in a different genre, choosing to go the ebook route in my new career as a mystery writer was a major decision for me. And while I know many writers who are completely self-published, this time I have chosen to go with a small publishing house that specializes in ebooks.
As I write this, the first book of my new series has just launched. And I’m asking myself just how DO you lift your book from the obscurity of new beginnings into the success of sales, followers, and momentum?
My answer is: I don’t really know–but I intend to find out.
So come along with me as I negotiate my way through the changing world of publishing into the new age of DIY career building. Journey with me, and we will learn together.
Join me at Malice Domestic 27: May 1-3, 2015 in Bethesda, Maryland.
Sunday, May 3, I will be participating in the Murder’s on the Menu: Food and Mysteries Panel, along with Connie Archer, Maya Corrigan, Mary Ellen Hughes, and Liz Mugavero. Immediately after the panel, we will be autographing our books.
If you’re planning to be there, don’t miss our panel–it should be a lot of fun, and I would love to meet you.
